A collection of products I have designed for Norrøna.
norrøna senja 15L running pack.
Task: develop a 15L version of the current norrøna senja 7L vest.
This pack was developed for trail running where extra clothing, energy and gear is needed. Testers also wanted something that would work for mountain biking, light hiking or cross-country skiing.
New features and construction allow the user to access all parts of the pack on the fly without removing it from the back.
norrøna commuter 35L pack
Scenario: you're rushing through airport security, trying to get to your gate before it closes. You need quick and easy access to your computer and toiletries without having to unpack everything else.
Scenario: you're biking to work through a  torrential downpour. Once you get to the office you grab a quick shower and change into your office attire.
The 35L commuter pack has two separate and waterproof main compartments that are easily accessed via a self closing magnetic closure. Embracing Norrøna's design philosophy of Loaded Minimalism, this pack is packed with features in a sleek and urban commuter pack..
The innovative construction eliminates the need for internal taping of seams while still maintaining complete protection of your laptop and clothes from the elements.
norrøna falketind and trollveggen sleeping bags
The award winning falketind and trollveggen sleeping bags are the culmination of 4 years of extensive research and testing.
Roomier than average, yet still lightweight, and with useful features like an innovative collar construction, and arm openings and snap buttons that allow the user to walk around while still wearing the bag like a jacket. These are some of the lightest, warmest and most comfortable sleeping bags on the market.
norrøna falketind dome tent
American tents are usually pitched by erecting the inner tent, and then draping the flysheet on top. A useful construction in areas with mostly nice weather.
Scandinavian tents are usually pitched by erecting the flysheet and connecting the inner tent from the inside. A useful construction in areas with mostly bad weather.
This truly innovative and user friendly tent combines the best of both worlds, allowing the user to choose which way to erect the tent, depending on the current weather conditions. All aspects of the tent are equally usable while wearing mittens in the winter or when soaking up the sun in the summer.
norrøna femund tunnel tent
A traditional Scandinavian tunnel tent with the latest technology hidden throughout. This tent is easily pitched within minutes. Needing only 4 pegs to stay erect, it can still withstand up to hurricane strength winds.
